Can I Rename a Domain?
This will depend on what domain you are trying to rename. In Office Live, you can rename your forth level domain (mydomain.web.officelive.com), this done through the Domain Manager, you also have the option to change the .web. to something that is more fitting for you. You cannot rename a second level domain (mydomain.com), you can still however purchase an additional domain with the name you want.

Do I need to Use a Credit Card to get a Domain?
Yes, either a Credit card or certain Debit cards will work.  The credit/debit card is used for verification purposes, basically just a safe guard against those that might use the service maliciously.  You may notice a $1 debit/credit on your card, which is only to check if you card is valid.
