Create a Under Construction

About 24 hours after signing up for your website it will be "live" but probably won't be presentable nor ready, there are several ways you can get around this:

Solution 1. Place an "Under Construction" on your homepage and when you create new pages leave them off navigation while you design them, the only problem with this is people will see your homepage yet.

Solution 2. Place a redirect on your homepage to an "Under Construction" page.
  a. First create an new blank page and name it Construction, uncheck to display the header, navigation, and footer.

  b. On your homepage paste the following redirect code into the the Keywords section, under the SEO tab, in page properties.  If the pages address is construction, you won't need to modify the code, otherwise change the redirected url as needed.  If you have keywords, make sure add the code after the keywords!

%22%20%2F%3E%3Cmeta http-equiv=%22refresh%22 content=%220; url=/construction.aspx

  c. Design your website, there is no need to hide pages from navigation, once done designing you can remove redirect code from the keywords area.
